OSEVEY is a South African luxury streetwear label born out of an obsession with the pure weight, architectural drape, and permanence of monochrome heavyweight fleece.
Founded and owned by Leon Motaung, OSEVEY was conceived on a single realization: modern streetwear had traded fabric substance for fast-fashion gimmicks and flimsy synthetics. The digital platform is developed and engineered by DeWet Technologies.
We set out to engineer the definitive South African hoodie — cut from custom-milled 450GSM cotton fleece, structured with a heavy double-layered hood that never collapses, and shaped with a modern drop-shoulder silhouette that looks striking on every frame.
By eliminating all color distractions and dedicating ourselves strictly to pure black, pure white, and charcoal grey, we allow form, texture, and uncompromising construction to speak for itself.
Custom-knitted from 100% African comb cotton. Dense, structured, and brush-finished inside for unparalleled warmth without synthetic blends.
Cut with a distinctive drop-shoulder, high-stance double hood, and deep kangaroo pocket. Pre-shrunk to retain exact dimensions wash after wash.
We reject temporary trend cycles. By restricting our canvas to absolute Black, Pure White, and Raw Heather Grey, every drop remains timeless.
Engineered locally with reinforced double-needle bar tacking at all stress points, custom-milled heavy ribbed hems, and tonal embroidered branding.
Our dyes and wash processes utilize closed-loop filtration, eliminating toxic chemical discharge into Cape Town waterways.
Every order is shipped in frosted cornstarch-derived compostable mailers and recycled unbleached kraft card stock. Zero single-use plastics.
All cutting, stitching, and finishing is done by local Western Cape textile artisans who earn above-average living wages in ethical, safe workshops.
We operate on a zero-deadstock philosophy. Each collection is produced in calculated limited numbers to prevent textile landfill waste.
